The UK is leaving the EU single market and customs union, and the end of the transition period will affect businesses, as well as travel to and from the EU. There are new rules for businesses from 1 January 2021.
At Visit Herts, we will continue to lobby for our tourism industry and ensure that the voices of our businesses are heard by the Government through our position on the Tourism Industry Emergency Response (TIER) Group that meets regularly to discuss both Brexit and the Covid19 Pandemic. We're also working closely with VisitBritain and local partners to ensure that we're all communicating positive and consistent messaging to our visitors, across Europe and the rest of the world.
