Hertfordshire Visitor Economy Programme

Hertfordshire is home to hundreds of hospitality businesses, food and drink producers, experience providers, and a growing number of attractions! 

Dacorum, Stevenage, Watford and Welywn Hatfield districts are working with Visit Herts to deliver the programme. The aim is to help businesses to better understand their audience, how to reach them and to look at ways they can develop their offer, be more entrepreneurial, and collaborate with others to create exciting new products and experiences. As part of this project, we’ll also deliver a dedicated marketing campaign, “Home is where the Herts is”. 

This project will bring together tourism and hospitality businesses to spotlight the hidden gems, beautiful outdoor spaces, local food and drink offering, vibrant events and cultural offer across the borough.

Are you a restaurant, attraction or accommodation provider who would like to work more closely with local partners, and collaborate with other tourism and hospitality businesses? Maybe you deliver outdoor activities or creative workshops and would like to reach new audiences?

Join us for a series of expert-led workshops designed to help you develop your ideas and grow your business. These workshops will also provide you with the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with like-minded local businesses. 

The series of business support workshops will be delivered between September 2024 and February 2025 and will include the following topics:  

• Mapping your audiences 
• Reaching your potential audience 
  
• Welcome to the district workshop (x3)
